Daywise Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival And Transfer To Gangtok

The closest station to Sikkim, is New Jalpaiguri Station/Bagdogra Airport/Pakyong Airport, is where the guests will arrive. From there, our representative will greet them and help them to get towards Gangtok. On the way, you will get to see the beautiful rivers like Teesta river, and mesmerizing mountain views.

Teesta River Teesta river rises in Sikkim from the Himalayas, it is an important river that also provides optional river rafting experiences that guests can participate at their own cost on early arrival.

On day two the visitors will have an exciting day trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. The journey takes about 40 to 50 minutes from Gangtok city which is about 41 Kilometres. It is a must visit place after reaching Gangtok which is one of the main attractions for which people visit this place. Baba Mandir which is also nearby is another often visited place in Gangtok.

Tsomgo Lake – Tsongmo Lake is one of the main tourist attractions in Gangtok Sikkim. It is a high altitude glacial lake which provides its visitors with scenic beauty and a serene environment. Other activities like Yak ride, Ropeway can be done at your own cost.

Baba Mandir – It is a shrine built by the Indian Army to give tribute to the brave soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh making an exemplary contribution to the Indian Army. These Shrines have spiritual significance to its locals .

Nathula pass  – Nathula pass is an optional point for the visitors. It is an Indo-China. Border located at an altitude of 4310 meters from the mean sea level. It is one of the important passes between India and China and to go there you need to have permission from the authorities.

Today we will start our journey towards a beautiful and natural beauty place called Lachung. It takes approx. 6 hrs( 124 km ) to reach Lachung from Gangtok. on the way you will see the scenic beauty of Lachung like 

⦁ Butterfly waterfalls: Butterfly waterfall is an eye catcher spot while going to Lachen. Please note if incase due to some natural calamities we have to take another route then instead of Butterfly waterfalls Seven Sister waterfalls will be covered.

 Today we will explore  the major attractive sightseeing points in Lachung which includes:

⦁ Yumthang Valley: After 45-55 minutes of travel we will step foot in the most alluring location in Lachung, Yumthang valley. It is popularly known as the Valley of flowers as this valley remains wonderfully covered with varieties of natural flowers during spring season. During the winter month  this place gives a different experience as it remains covered with snowy mountains.

⦁ Zero Point (Optional): Another breathtaking location in Lachung is Zero point which is also commonly recognised as Yumesamdong. It is the end point of Lachung where visitors are not allowed to go beyond this. Its mesmerizing scenic views, snow capped mountains, windy atmosphere is what makes this place an ideal location for nature lovers.

After a wonderful and memorable trip to lachung  we will head back to Gangtok which will take another 5 to 6 hrs road journey.

After breakfast Drive to Pelling Via Namchi visit to Samdrupste Hill is 7000 ft high hill, located at a distance of 5 km from Namchi. The meaning of Samdrupste, in the Bhutia language, is ‘the wish fulfilling hill’. Char Dham is a pilgrimage destination situated at Solophok Hill, which is at a distance of about 5 km from Namchi Town and then visit The Buddha Park of Ravangla, also known as Tathagata Tsal, is situated near Rabong (Ravangla) in South Sikkim district, Sikkim,India. It was constructed in 2006-13 and features a 130-foot high statue of  Buddha as its centerpiece then further drive to Pelling.

Overnight stay at Hotel in Pelling. 

Today you will explore the hidden gem of Pelling which includes;

⦁ Rabdentse Ruins: It is part of the Buddhist religious Pilgrimage circuit it is an important religious place, that offers cultural and spiritual experiences to explore the remains of the ancient capital and learn about Sikkim’s history and there are breathtaking views of the Himalayas’ green surrounding.

⦁ Skywalk: is a glass-bottomed bridge it is the first glass skywalk in India while walking on the glass enjoying beautiful views and mountains.

⦁ Khecheopalri Lake: Sikkimese people believe it is a fulfilled-wishes lake and the peaceful environment provides you with a perfect place for relaxation and meditation.

⦁ Darap village: is a breathtaking peaceful village near Pelling, it’s a perfect place for those who want to experience traditional Sikkimese rural life and views of forest and mountains local handcrafts, and farming practices.

⦁ Rimbi waterfalls: there you will get clear water crystalline water and better flow during monsoon it is a great place to spend some quality time with your loved ones surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere.

⦁ Kanchanjanga Waterfalls: is surrounded by  greenery are stunning, it is a fantastic  place for taking pictures, you will feel a relaxing  and refreshing natural spot 

⦁ Pemayangtse Monastery: is a holy place and Buddhist monastery where you can go for Worshipping if you’re seeking Blessings, the monastery is revered for the spiritual atmosphere that will give you a peaceful heart and soul.

Drive towards Darjeeling. Darjeeling is a beautiful hill town located in west BengalIndia, and it is mostly famous for tea plantations, Toy train and mesmerizing views of Mt. Kanchenjunga.

Over Night Stay at Darjeeling.

Today, we will explore all the major local sightseeing of Darjeeling which includes. 

⦁ Tiger hill  Early morning at 4am to witness the view of sunrise. From tiger hill will get the panoramic views of mount Kanchenjunga and mount Everest. It is approx. 13 km away from the main city Darjeeling.

While returning from Tiger hill, you will be exploring Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery.

⦁ Batasia Loop– Batasia loop attracts the people for the spectacular views of mount kanchenjunga and other snow capped mountains.

⦁ Ghoom Monastery–  Ghoom monastery is another sightseeing point which is near to Bstasia loop .It is approx 6 kms away from the main market of Darjeeling.

⦁ Japanese temples–  Japanese temple is a buddhist temple that offers you scenic beauty, or you can meditate and seek inner peace. 

⦁ Peace Pagoda- established to give a focal point for people of all races and creeds to assist them unite to achieve global peace. 

⦁ Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (will be closed on Thursday)- Zoological park is famous for the conservation of endangered species such as leo part, tiger, himalayan black bear,barking deer, many species of bird and Tibetan wolf.

⦁ Ropeway- Experience the beauty of the tea garden and the Himalayas surrounding Darjeeling. 

⦁ Tea Garden- Experience the smell of the Tea garden and have a chance to learn the making tea leaves of Darjeeling. 

⦁ Tenzing Gumpo Rock-Tensing Gumpo Rock – It is built in honor of the famous Tenzing sherpa for rock climbing and mountaineering lovers. 

⦁ Tibetan Refugee Center- Tibetan Refugee is a Self-help Center to learn Tibetan culture and history.

On the last day of the journey the visitors will prepare for their adieu with our representative making sure to give them a comfortable departure. We will safely drop you to the respective places either Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Station.
