Daywise Itinerary

Day 1. ARRIVE IN SRINAGAR - SIGHTSEEING

Our representative will meet and receive you at Airport and transfer to Hotel / Houseboat.

Evening enjoy a Shikara ride (at your own cost) in the picturesque Dal Lake.

Overnight at Srinagar.

Day 2. SRINAGAR TO GULMARG

After breakfast transfers to Gulmarg – a beautiful summer resort in the valley. It is popular for its highest golf course and for winter skiing. Gulmarg has been a resort for the kings like Yousuf Shah Chak and Jahangir who used to visit frequently Here you will witness the beauty of the natural surroundings of Kashmir set out like a Doll’s village, Gulmarg used to be a favorite hunt of the British in Summer and you will find the old fashion Hotels and shops in the village.

Enjoy a pony ride and a Gondala Ride (cable car) to Kangdori/Alpatar (at your own cost).

Day free for leisure. Overnight at Gulmarg.

Travel time: 1.5 hours from Srinagar to Gulmarg

Day 3. GULMARG TO PAHALGAM

After breakfast drive to Pahalgam, which is an idyllic destination located on the banks of river Lidder and Sheshnag. It is a long 4 hour drive but it will be a scenic drivel. Pahalgam is the base for several treks in the region and for the annual pilgrimage to the Holy Cave Shrine of Amarnath. The surroundings are ideal and allow for relaxation and leisure in the true spirit of traditional hill resort.

Enroute visit Cricket bat manufacturing factory & Saffron fields.

Arrive & check in at Hotel/Resort in Pahalgam.

Travel time: 4 hours from Gulmarg to Pahalgam exluding the stopovers on the way

Day 4. PAHALGAM SIGHTSEEING

After Breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Pahalgam. Pahalgam also offers a 9 hole golf course, skiing, pony trails, angling (rainbow & brown trouts) horse riding and Trekking opportunities to various places of interest in and around to locations like the Aru valley, Betab valley ( a place where famous bollywood movie Betab was shot), Lidderwat valley, Kolhai glacier and Chandanwari (route to holy cave).

A few kilometers from Pahalgam are the Baisaran Hills – covered by a dense forest of pines, firs and cedars over the Lidder Valley. This makes for a perfect camp site.

Explore the surroundings and return to Pahalgam Hotel.

Day 5. PAHALGAM TO SRINAGAR

After a leisurely morning, drive to Srinagar with a brief enroute visit to Awantipura ruins, a 1100-year-old temple complex.

Arrive in Srinagar and check into Hotel. Later on visit some of the famous points for sightseeing in city which includes: -Nishat Garden Know as ‘Garden of pleasure’,Shalimar Garden Know as ‘Garden of love’, Shankarya charya temple, Tulip Garden, Cheshma, Shahi Pari Mahal.

Overnight at Srinagar.

Travel time: 2.5 hours from Pahalgam to Srinagar

Day 6. SRINAGAR - DOODHPATHRI

Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Doodhpathri, which is yet another bowl shaped valley, about 42 kms from Srinagar. The region is characterized by its stunning alpine landscape, featuring snow-capped mountains and lush meadows filled with pine, fir, and deodar trees. A flowing river resounds with soft wind passing through the pine trees of the enclosures of the valley. Doodhpathri is also called as a “VALLEY OF MILK” because it produces rich milk in a large quantity.

Night stay in Doodhpathri

Travel time: 2 hours (47 kms) from Srinagar to Doodhpathri

Day 7. DOODHPATHRI-YUSMARG-SRINAGAR

After breakfast, we drive to Yusmarg, which takes about two hours time and is an enjoyment in itself. Grassy pastures stretching to acres of land, the dense forests full of pine trees, with the backdrop of splendid snow capped mountains leave you almost speechless.In the evening, we drive back to Srinagar.

Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Travel time: 2 hours from Doodhpathri to Yusmarg and 2 hours from Yusmarg to Srinagar

Day 8. SRINAGAR DEPARTURE
