Daywise Itinerary

Day 1. Guwahati Airport/Kamakhya Railway Station to Bhalukpong Transfer

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Kamakhya railway station, our driver will pick you up and proceed to Bhalukpong. En route enjoy the scenic beauty around the Brahmaputra River. You could also take selfies and photo sessions. After reaching Bhalukpong check into the hotel and take a rest after that in the evening explore the local market where you can see countless options for food, across popular cuisines. From Indian to Chinese to Tibetan and Continental cuisine, Bhalukpong’s menu has everything down its list. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

Day 2. Bhalukpong to Dirang Transfer

Today we will proceed towards Dirang which is located at a distance of nearly (129 km) takes almost 3-4hr to reach by road

⦁ Apple orchards: Apple orchards in Dirang grow varieties of apples .This apple orchards have become a good tourist attraction.

⦁ Sheep breeding farms: sheep breeding farms are important features of local people of dirang. They provide milk and wool

⦁ Natural hot springs. Hot spring is located about 6 km from dirang in the lush valley embedded by eastern himalayas.Overnight stay at Dirang

Day 3. Dirang to Tawang Transfer via Sela Pass

Today will proceed towards Tawang which is located at a distance of nearly 139 km and takes almost 4-5 hours by road .

On the way will visit Sela Pass:

⦁ Sela Pass: Sela pass is the most important place in Arunachal pradesh which is situated at 4,170m(13,700 f above sea level. This pass offers a beautiful panoramic view of snow capped mountains, lakes and alpine forests.

Day 4. Tawang -PTSO Lake, Bumla Pass, and Madhuri Lake Sightseeing

Today we will indulge in full day sightseeing of PTSO Lake, Bumla Pass, and Madhuri Lake Sightseeing

⦁ PTSO Lake: PTSO Lake is known for Pangang Teng Tso Lake also. This lake is situated at 4,270m (14.000 ft above sea level). The lake is embedded with Snow peak mountains, lush green. Lake water appears in various colors of blue and green.

⦁ Bumla Pass: Bumla pass is located in high altitude in tawang close to indo china border. It is situated at 5,300 m (17,400 above sea level.

Note: Visitors have to pay Rs 5500 for a permit to visit Bumla pass.

⦁ Madhuri Lake: Madhuri lake is also known as Sangster lake which is situated at 4,270(14,000 ft above sea level. This lake is a famous spot for photography and sightseeing. Madhuri lake is named after the Bollywood actress Maduri Dixit.

Day 5. Tawang Sightseeing and Transfer to Bomdila

Today will proceed towards Bomdila which is located at a distance of nearly 176 km and takes almost 4-5 hours by road .

First we will visit Tawang Monastery:.

⦁ The Tawang monastery : was founded by the Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso, by the wishes of the 5th Dalai Lama, Nagwang Lobsang Gyatso, and has an interesting legend surrounding its name, which means “Chosen by Horse”.

⦁ War Memorial: Tawang War Memorial, has a structure constructed in stupa design. Dedicated to the martyrs of the Sino-India War, this memorial is nestled among beautiful peaks, which overlook the Tawang-Chu valley. Popularly known as Namgyal Chorten. Overnight at Bomdila.

⦁ Nuranang falls: Nuranang falls is also known as Jang falls which is situated at 2,200m (7,200feet above sea level. The waterfalls plunge down from the height of 100 meters the area is embedded with greenery and landscape and bumpy mountain roads. The journey offers beautiful mountain views surrounded by hills and valleys

Day 6. Bomdila to Kaziranga

Today will proceed towards Kaziranga which is located at a distance of nearly 214 km and takes almost 5-6 hours by road .

Kaziranga – Kaziranga is known as the hub of one horned Rhinoceros also known as the place of many endangered species. On Reaching Check in to your hotel in Kaziranga and take a rest. Your evening is at leisure. You can enjoy surrounding nature with your kids. In the later evening, you can experience folk dances of Assam are shown including Bihu which is a famous traditional dance of Assamese people. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 7. Kaziranga to Shillong -Elephant safari & Jeep safari -Transfer

Today will proceed towards Shillong which is located at a distance of nearly 265 km and takes almost 5-6 hours by road .

First we will do Safari in Kaziranga.

⦁ Elephant Safari: Duration of Elephant safari is 1 hour (Pay on Direct Basis) at any of the ranges (Eastern/Central). Explore the wildlife of Kaziranga, especially the pride of Assam, One-horned Rhinoceros, Wild Buffalo, Hog Deer, Swamp deer, red-headed bill, and various flora and faunas.

⦁ Jeep Safari:. Jeep safari duration is around 2 hours (Pay on Direct Basis) if time permits one can choose any range according to your preferences. One can witness one-horned Rhinoceros, Wild Buffalo, Hog Deer, Swamp deer, red-headed bill, and various flora and faunas.

Day 8. Shillong Full-Day Sightseeing

Today we will be exploring Shillong Full Day sightseeing which includes:

⦁ Elephant Waterfalls: Elephant fall is the most elegant waterfall in Shillong which provides you the most amazing view, one can visit the fall once you visit Shillong.

⦁ Shillong Peak: Shillong Peak is the highest peak of Shillong from there you will get a breathtaking view of the full Shillong city.

⦁ Ward’s Lake: The most tourist-visited place in Shillong, surrounded by a beautiful flower bed and a fountain.

⦁ Lady Hydari Park: There you will find an eye-catching view of the garden which if formed in the Japanese style, you will find different types of plants and flowers.

⦁ Cathedral church: It is the oldest church in Shillong. And now it is one of the main tourist attractions in Shillong.

⦁ Don Bosco Museum (Closed on Sunday): The museum focuses on the local culture of indigenous people with tools displayed.

Day 9. Shillong to Dawki Transfer

Today will proceed towards Dawki, known as Umngot river. Dawki river is famous for its crystal-clear waters. one can have a bath over here, and enjoy local boating. On the way to Dawki, you can enjoy the view of Borhill Falls and Kyram Falls.

Day 10. Dawki to Mawlynnong Transfer and Mawlynnong Sightseeing

Today will proceed towards Shillong which is located at a distance of nearly 30 km and takes almost 1-2 hours by road . After reaching Mawlynnong we will do some sightseeing.

⦁ Mawlynnong Village: Mawlynnong village is located in East Khasi hill famous for its traditional lifestyle and cleanliness.

⦁ Sky view point:Sky view point provides panoramic view of surrounding hills and plains of bangladesh

⦁ Bamboo and traditional: Mawlynnong is known for its Bamboo and traditional crafts. One can explore the local markets and buy souvenirs and handmade items.

⦁ Single Decker: Single decker is located in Riwai village of Meghalaya it is made up of ficus elastica tree also known as rubber tree. one can experience hiking which is surrounded by small streams and dense forests.

⦁ Balancing rock: Balancing rock is a large stone and optical illusion of balance. The rock appears disregard gravity.

Day 11. Dawki to Cherrapunji Transfer

Today we will move towards Cherrapunjee which is located at a distance of nearly 80 km and takes almost 2 hours by road .Cherrpunji is known as sohra also which is famous for heavy rainfall and beautiful landscapes

Day 12. Cherrapunji Full Day Sightseeing

Today will explore Cherrapunjee sightsee including:

⦁ Nohkalikai Falls: Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. The waterfall is surrounded by Green cliffs, greenery. Nohkalikai is named after the khasi women

⦁ Seven Sisters Falls: Seven Sisters Falls is a vibrant spectacle. The falls are located on the top of cliffs of the Khasi Hills, but only during the rainy season.

⦁ Mawsmai Cave: A major northeast tourist attraction, the Mawsmai Cave is flocked by tourists throughout the year. Visit these surreal limestone constructions for a holistic holiday experience.

⦁ Arwah Cave: The Arwah Cave in Cherrapunjee is a magnificent spot for all nature lovers. One can spot a diverse range of flora and fauna amidst these limestone stacks.

⦁ Weisawdong Falls: A three-tiered waterfall located in Cherrapunjee.It is the most beautiful waterfall in Cherrapunjee if you are exploring Cherrapunjee you must visit Weisawdong Falls.

Day 13. Drop at Guwahati Airport

Check out by late morning or early afternoon, depending on your flight timing, your driver will transfer you Airport in Guwahati where the tour ends with lots of memories of the scenic landscapes and majestic waterfalls of Cherrapunji.
